Psychic Phenomena

For those of you who are experiencing psychic phenomena, I would suggest you look at my youtube video listed below or on the header of this website. Seek out information on the internet that speaks to you or find a book on the subject written by a psychologist or Ph.D. and finally, do consult a specialist in the area.  It could be a renowned psychic, a minister, rabbi or priest, spiritualist society or an elder, but make sure you talk to someone about what’s happening.  It is not good to keep it to yourself and wonder what is going on.  There is so much to learn about speaking to a higher power and you certainly want to make sure you are not speaking to a negative energy or otherwise.  A bit of advice, if you don’t mind, for the year 2012.  Get talking about it!  Harvard and other noted institutions have spent millions of dollars since the turn of the century on parapsychology research or what is now coined as ‘psi research’.  The CIA has been researching this phenomenon for many decades. Check out my post on Dr Daryl Bem who has proven research on this subject.  Or look at Sages and Scientist on youtube for their wealth of information.  Here are the links:

Apple iTunes and Barnes and Noble

From an author’s point of view, it is difficult to sell ebooks/books, especially if you don’t have time to market them.  However, in 2012 I have sold books now through Apple iTunes’ iBookstore and Barnes and Noble.  Hallelujah!  Amazon.com has sold most of my ebooks followed by Sony ebookstore.  Thank you to the readers who are buying Paige Maddison’s Wake Me Up Inside.  You encourage me to keep on writing!  Book two is longer, more complicated and sure to thrill its’ readers.   Best Regards.

Mitakue Oyasin or Gakina-awiiya

Translated means ‘We are all related’.  It’s a wonderful world we live in and for those of you who are in tune with what I’m talking about here is another great quote: ‘He who is one step ahead is a genius; he who is two steps ahead is a crack pot!’ I have borrowed this sentiment from a Native American prophecies website entitled Prophecy Keepers or go to  www.prophecykeepers.com  It is a fascinating place to spend some thoughtful time about the oncoming 2012 prophecies with a bit of a different context.  I would be negligent if I didn’t also mention the book American Indian Prophecies by Kurt Kaltreider, Ph.D. and is available on Kindle ebooks for $1.99.  If you are at all interested in this subject, take a look at these items and be informed from many different philosophers and enjoy discussions on this important topic.

Carl Johan Calleman

Hollywood has presented several movies concerning the end of the world as identified by the end of the Mayan calendar.  Check out Jon Cusack’s movie 2012, or the Christian Apocalyptic movie 2012 Doomsday.  But when does the calendar actually end?  According to Carl Johan Calleman, it ended on October 28, 2011.  The worst is over folks.  And now the rest is up to humanity to forge its future based on the unity of consciousness.  Check out his website if you have the time – www.calleman.com It makes for a very interesting read.

Ghostly Matters

As an author, working on my second installment in the Paige Maddison trilogy, I thought I would give a preview of what’s in store for the readers:

Strolling absent-mindedly along the pebbled path I was not conscious of where I was going until I looked up to the second storey window of the guest house and saw a figure staring down, watching me.  Assuming it was Dexter, I ran in through the double wooden doors and called his name.  Desperately needing to speak to him I continued down the hallway to the stairs and as I climbed them, I walked through a freezing cold wall.  Sensing I was in trouble, I quickly repeated the protection prayer whispering it to myself  as fast as I could.  When I reached the top stair, there at the end of the hallway stood a long-legged man in a black robe and wide brimmed hat.  He had the most piercing yellow-green eyes and was visibly shocked when he noticed I could see him.  His eyes widened.  I felt immediately nauseated like someone had just punched me in the gut and realized I was in the wrong  place at the wrong time.  As if in slow-motion, he raised his wickedly skinny right arm and pointed one long, crooked finger at me.  Initially,  I could not determine if he was threatening me or telling me to leave.  However, that line of thinking quickly dissipated as he started to move towards me as if on an escalator.  Paralyzed with fear and conscious it was beyond my control, I could not swallow or breathe. As he slowly moved past me, I was unable to turn my head to see where he had disappeared to.  When it was over, I collapsed onto the stairs clammy and shakey.  Perhaps Hanna and Grandpa’s fears were real on devil’s night?

Feedback is always appreciated!  Thank you. 🙂

Happiness vs Haters

Is it really true?! There are some people that do not like nor understand happy people?  I could not believe the news tonight discussing how many facebook pages are making other people unhappy.  It really stopped me in my tracks and made me think, why? I, very naively, have believed that when someone is happy, we should be happy for them.  And when you are happy for someone else, it actually makes you feel positive and share in their happiness.  And to take it a step further, you actually feel good inside.  It’s only my opinion, but to me, there are two ways to choose to live life.  Happy or unhappy.  I choose to live happily no matter what happens.  I’ve almost died twice, suffered from bankruptcy in my family, lost many family members and have probably been judged for choosing to be happy.  A little piece of advice, if I may:  We are here on this earth for a blip in time so why choose to be a pain to everyone around you?  You are only hurting yourself in the process and when you enter the room and notice others are leaving, trust me, they are choosing not to be around the unhappy, jaded, or depressing person.  I choose to have a purpose in life, I choose to be happy, and I choose to make sure that people in my company do not suffer from my bad attitude.  How do I do this? Easy.  Firstly, everything that happens is NOT about me; secondly, I wake up each day and say aloud, ‘who do I get to help or make laugh today?; and thirdly, though it takes effort, to look at events and set-backs in a positive light – ie. what can I learn from this bad situation.  It’s worth the work!  I’d like to emphasize, every person has tough times, baggage, health problems, or relationship troubles sometime through-out their life.  Happy people choose to overcome their struggles and work until they find a solution possibly with the help from family and friends or professional help.  Thought for the week. 🙂

EGO

arrOgant

When we act from EGO, we are not considering the feelings of those surrounding us, be it at work, or in our homes or at a social engagement.  Live from the heart and reflect on words or actions and how it impacts on other peoples’ lives.  Come from a place of pure LOVE and you will be a genuine success!  Just a thought as we go into the month of December.  Happy decorating!

The Writer’s Life

For those of you who are thinking of writing fiction, I thought I would share a bit about my approach, though it may seem a bit unusual.  However, I do like to encourage others to step outside of their comfort zones and do something different.  When I begin in the morning, which is the best time for me to write as I am fresh for the day, I have to play music.  It is the central inspiration for my books.  The second novel illustrating Paige Maddison’s journey is not only once again battling ghosts but has a big surprise element.  Muse’s song Uprising is a great inspiration!  The words and the beat get me pumped up to sit and write.  Make sense?  Enjoy the first snowfall to my fellow Canadians.  🙂 Lee
