Mugged in Montreal

This goes out to all of the youth that feel they are invincible.  I feel for you and understand that it is normal to behave like that.  Our son, Justin, is back in Montreal  for University and was MUGGED last night at gunpoint – EIGHT men, TWO guns on him!  I have always told him to trust his gut and follow his instincts – luckily he did just that.  He was happy he had left his wallet and new cell behind.  ‘I told them take whatever you want but all I have is my ipod and they searched me.  They took my ipod and as they did I DID NOT LOOK THEM IN THE EYES.’  He’s alive today for that very reason.  THANK GOODNESS Justin’s okay; material possessions mean nothing compared to his safetyLOVE YOU Bud.  Your Mom and Dad      Trust your gut!  Please be careful and always go out at night with a friend wherever you may live.  BTW, the thieves tag line was ‘hey, do you have any cigarettes’.

Life

Have you ever been told by a person in authority that ‘you can’t do that’?  We all have our dreams.  Ever since I was a young child, I couldn’t get my hands on enough books on ghosts and hauntings and dreamed of being a writer, one day.  But I was told that I wasn’t smart enough, or wrote well enough.  If someone ever told me I’d be published in J.R. Colombo’s The Big Book of Canadian Hauntings and have published my own ebook, even two years ago, I would have told them, ‘you’re crazy’, and that I didn’t have the talent.  Follow your heart and chase your dreams!  Make it your own and don’t let anyone stop you!

The Year 2012

I have not blogged for some time as I am heavy into research for my second book.  However, even I do find the time to read.  For those of you who are uncertain about the coming year into 2012, perhaps afraid of the Mayan or any other apocalyptic predictions, I urge you to buy and read the book entitled Wholeliness by Carmen Harra, Ph.D.  It is a dedication to read this book as it is long, but worthwhile for those who need reassurance that all will be okay.  Keep on Reading! Norway Tragedy

As we head into the long weekend, I cannot stop thinking about this horrible tragedy. Most of us are still reeling from the events of one man and still will be for many years to come.  It has sent a shockwave around the world.  I am sending out condolescences to all the family and friends afflicted by this chilling massacre. For those of us who did not have the honour of knowing these youths, nor who they would become in future years, is a tragedy in itself, let alone to their loving families.  My family and I will send prayers for their most unexpected transition.

HEAT WAVE

I hope everyone suffering in this heat wave in Ontario, or wherever you may live,  are staying cool – drink lots of water and splash it on yourself if you are not able to get to the beach or a pool – even a cold bath or shower provides relief.  Remember, it’s also a good time to be still and read a book or ebook.  Happy Reading!  Take care of yourself.  Lee

MNJIKANING FISH WEIRS

Some of you may have heard of this most sacred place and I encourage you to look it up on the web for its importance.  I was called to move near here and have often visited the Weirs and received messages to do with the sacred origins.  This has been a secret to my writing but I am grateful to share this information TODAY.  It is important to acknowledge that we are all connected and no one is ‘Alone’.  If you have read my ebook you will notice this theme is mentioned through-out the book.  I have never felt ‘alone’ but for all the people out there that feel they are, let me emphasize you are never alone.  We all have supportive people around us, even if you cannot see them.  Lee
